Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

StreamTag is a live-commerce workflow application provided by AJAX Digital Solutions LLC ("StreamTag," "we," "us," or "our"). This policy explains how information is handled by the StreamTag website, browser extension, Windows companion application, licensing service, and support service.

StreamTag is independent software and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Whatnot or any other marketplace.

2. Information we handle

Account and licensing information

When you create or use an account, we process your email address, a securely derived password hash and salt, email-verification and password-reset records, account creation and trial dates, device identifiers and device names, session and license records, access-code redemptions, referral records, and account status.

Live-sale information

To authorize labels, assign buyer numbers, prevent duplicate printing, and provide the service, the extension and Windows companion process and transmit relevant live-sale information to StreamTag. This can include seller and buyer usernames, show and event identifiers, listing identifiers, item names, lot numbers, prices, bid counts, giveaway status, timestamps, and basket assignments.

Screenshots, show logs, and local files

If you enable screenshots, the extension captures the visible active show tab after qualifying sale events and sends the image only to the StreamTag Windows companion running on your computer. The companion saves screenshots, buyer lists, and show logs in your Windows Documents folder. StreamTag does not upload those screenshot image files to our licensing server. Diagnostic information is sent to us only when you choose to include it in a support request.

Browser-extension settings

The extension stores settings locally in your browser, including whether StreamTag and screenshots are enabled, automatic-screenshot permission state, configured seller username, paired-desktop credentials, current-show state, giveaway-label preferences, and troubleshooting preferences.

Billing information

Stripe processes payment-card and billing details. StreamTag does not store complete card numbers. We receive and store Stripe customer, subscription, invoice, payment-status, refund, and related identifiers needed to provide subscriptions, payment history, referral rewards, and account support.

Support information

When you contact support, we store your email address, request category, subject, message, any diagnostics you choose to provide, support notes, and timestamps.

Technical information

Our hosting and security providers may process ordinary server and network information such as IP address, request time, requested URL, browser or device type, and security logs when you visit our website or communicate with the licensing service.

3. How we use information

• Provide, authenticate, license, secure, maintain, and update StreamTag.
• Detect qualifying sales and giveaways, assign buyer numbers, authorize printing, and prevent duplicate labels.
• Provide billing, trials, access codes, referrals, and account administration.
• Send verification, password-reset, billing, service, and support communications.
• Investigate errors, prevent abuse, enforce our terms, and protect users and the service.
• Comply with legal obligations and resolve disputes.

We do not sell personal information. We do not use browsing activity, live-sale information, or screenshots for targeted advertising.

4. Chrome Web Store Limited Use

StreamTag's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Browser access is used only to provide the user-facing live-sale detection, seller controls, and optional screenshot features described in the extension and its store listing.

5. When we share information

We disclose information only as needed to operate StreamTag, comply with law, protect the service, or complete a business transaction. Service providers currently include:

• Stripe for subscriptions, payments, invoices, refunds, and customer billing tools.
• Zoho and ZeptoMail for account and support email delivery.
• Amazon Web Services for application hosting and storage.
• Cloudflare for domain, network, and security services where enabled.

These providers process information under their own terms and privacy notices. We may also disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, respond to lawful requests, prevent fraud or harm, enforce our agreements, or protect legal rights. If StreamTag or AJAX Digital Solutions LLC is involved in a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction subject to applicable law.

6. Retention

We retain account, license, sale-authorization, support, security, referral, and billing-reference records for as long as reasonably necessary to provide and secure StreamTag, maintain business and tax records, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations. Retention periods vary by record type. Local screenshots and show files remain on your computer until you delete them.

7. Your choices and requests

You can pause StreamTag, disable screenshots, decline the optional automatic-screenshot permission, sign out, cancel a subscription through the billing portal, and delete local show files through Windows. You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of eligible account information by contacting support@streamtag.app or using our support form. We may need to verify your identity, and some records may be retained where required for security, billing, tax, dispute-resolution, or legal purposes.

8. Security

We use administrative and technical safeguards designed to protect information, including encrypted HTTPS connections, hashed passwords, hashed session and recovery tokens, signed license instructions, access controls, and restricted production secrets. No system can guarantee absolute security.

9. Children

StreamTag is a business workflow service and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as StreamTag changes. We will post the updated version here and revise the effective date. Material changes may also be communicated through the service or by email when appropriate.
